Exploration of Cairo: Egyptian Museum - Pyramids of Giza - Sphinx - Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Hurghada. Mukwano Travel will provide your transportation in a comfortable air-conditioned car or minibus to the nearby Hurghada airport, where you will then take a domestic flight to Cairo.

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by a German-speaking Egyptologist who will accompany and guide you for the rest of the day. Cairo, the beating heart of the country and the largest city on the African continent, primarily comprises the core cities of Cairo and Giza, with a total population of over 20 million, making it one of the world's largest cities. The ancient city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

The excursion program begins with a city tour, a unique experience that you will soon discover with wonder! Cairo's traffic, with its diverse vehicles, may initially seem both overwhelming and fascinating. Next, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, with its countless magnificent exhibits. Here, you can fully immerse yourself in Egypt’s thousands of years of history. If you were to examine each exhibit individually, you would need two full weeks. For your comfort, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Now, enter the world-famous Giza Plateau, where the impressive pyramids await you. The Great Pyramid of Giza, the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, is about 4,600 years old and was known for over 4,000 years as the tallest building in the world, with a volume of about 2.6 million cubic meters. Admire the grandeur of the three imposing pyramids of Giza, which majestically rise above nearby Cairo and still testify to the distant power of the ancient pharaohs. They are still guarded by the ancient Sphinx, a hybrid creature of man and beast, a symbol of both human wisdom and animal strength. Although Oedipus solved its riddle, archaeologists still debate its exact age; it is generally attributed to Pharaoh Chephren.
